We’re hiring a fixed wing King Air 200 Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This pilot will be qualified to fly our King Air planes . Scheduled shifts run 1 week on/1 week off and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services, therefore all of our pilots work on a quality, professional team that are committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.Minimum Required Qualifications: - Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) Required. Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Valid and unexpired drivers license
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
- 2,500 total flight hours
- 2,000 Fixed Wing hours
- 1,000 PIC hours
- 500 Cross Country hours
- 500 multi-engine hours
- 100 night hours
- 75 instrument (50 actual) hours
Responsibilities: - Pilot will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and company requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
- Provide shift change info to transitioning pilot and team, and follows protocols for recording company change board details.
- Pilots are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.
Working Conditions: - Required to work in outside weather conditions.
- May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight.
Physical Demands: - Required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Schedule: - The pilot schedule is a 12 hour shift, 7 days on and 7 days off, typically beginning at 0500 or 1700. Sometimes a flight shift may extend past 12 hours, but usually not longer than 15 hours.

In this position the nurse will complete the Pre-Screening Call and complete preoperative chart reviews in Epic. During this call the nurse will provide holistic nursing care for patients/families/caregivers prior to hospitalization. The nurse will be responsible for accurately obtaining, assessing and identifying potential risks and barriers to expected outcomes. Patient care will be provided in partnership with a provider; including phlebotomy, EKG, and other preoperative testing as ordered.

The Float Pool at Hartford Hospital, also known as the STAR Team, is comprised of experienced, highly skilled Nursing professionals. Our Emergency Department-based Observation Unit at Hartford Hospital is a fast-paced, 20 bed unit devoted to the management of patients requiring 24-48 hours to determine whether a patient can be safely discharged or admitted to the hospital. In this position the nurse will complete the Pre-Screening Call and complete preoperative chart reviews in Epic. The nurse will be responsible for accurately obtaining, assessing and identifying potential risks and barriers to expected outcomes. Patient care will be provided in partnership with a provider; including phlebotomy, EKG, and other preoperative testing as ordered.

The Float Pool at Hartford Hospital, also known as the STAR Team, is comprised of experienced, highly skilled Nursing professionals. Registered Nurses on the STAR Team have a variety of skills, allowing them to transition from one specialty to another with confidence and ease. Our team is broken down into two groups, Med/Surg and Critical Care. The Med/Surg team floats between approximately 18 units (including the Step Down units) while our Critical Care RNs primarily float between the six ICUs at Hartford Hospital (MICU, SICU, Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU and Cardiothoracic ICU). - A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing preferred
- Experience: 2 years experience within the last 5 years in chronic disease management/long-term care. Hospice background preferred
- Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
