Responsibilities: Associate Dentists are responsible for providing dental services to patients with the support of their team. Our practice has:
  • DentaPro software
  • Digital x-ray and Panorex units
  • Fiber-optic handpieces
  • Yearly OSHA and HIPPA and Emergency Management training
  • Ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider
  • Patient Base: primarily ages 3-21 and up to 30% adult population (depending upon location)
  • Office flow: average 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients
  • State insurance plans, PPO and out-of-network payor mix
Qualifications: We expect you to have:
  • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
  • Other certifications as required – CPR, DEA, etc.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
  • Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services. In collaboration with the RN and other members of the care team, the LPN/LVN provides individualized, comprehensive care consistent with the scope and standards of the specialty.

Qualifications
  • Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
  • CPR certification.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who are looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Position Highlights:

  • Compensation: Immediately, Avera starts you with great wages, excellent benefits including health, dental, paid time off, and generous retirement.
  • Student Loan Repayment: This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides for the delivery of professional nursing care under the direction of physicians, nursing supervisor, and clinic manager.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $20.75 – $29.25 per hour
